Langholm Cricket Club AGM will be held on

Sunday the 5th of February starting at 7 for 7:30pm

For the first time in living memory it will be held in the Clubhouse. If anyone has any proposed changes to the constitution please let the Secretary know in writing asap.

I would just like to apologise for the date change due to our illustrious Chairman having to dress a Haggis, I thought they just wore a sheep's stomach.

The first set of fixtures for the revamped Border League have been announced and they will see our 2nd XI playing away to Hawick on the 29th of April to get the season under way. The final game of the season is away to Kelso on the 2nd of September.

NEW ADVENTURE BECKONS

From the 2012 season Langholm's 1st XI shall be competing in Division 3 of The Eden Valley Cricket League against teams from Carlisle and the surrounding area. Keswick's picturesque ground is pictured right.

The decision to withdraw from The Border League has not been taken lightly but the club felt that this was the best way forward to guarantee the future of the club.
